I wouldn't expect to see a public hack released anytime soon as GeoHot is
has a lot of work ahead of him reverse engineering the firmware.

iXtreme LT is here!
I am now Flashing iXtreme LT for XBOX 360 users who would like to get back on Xbox LIVE with
their backups. I have been testing the firmware on LIVE for the last couple of days and everything
is going smooth. As always it is recommended to run your .iso images through abgx360 prior
to burning your discs.

Due to the xbox live bannings that have already affected approximately 1 million users, i urge everyone
with a modded Xbox 360 to stay off xbox live until iXtreme LT is released.
c4eva has announced that he is working on new firmware for all drives that will be called iXtreme LT (Lite Touch).
This firmware will have minimal patching, only what is required to allow backup discs to boot. There will be little
(if any) security checks done on the discs by the firmware, meaning that having stealth backups
will become even more important than it already has been.
The idea behind this firmware is to remove as many differences between stock and hacked firmware as possible.
Lite-On and Hitachi 1.61 have been canceled and will be replaced by iXtreme LT instead.
There is no ETA on the new iXtreme LT firmware so don't ask, we only know that it is in the works.
We will update
the site as more info is known.

The new iXtreme 1.61 has been released for Samsung and BenQ drives but
nothing yet for the lite-on drives. You will need this update to play all Wave 2, 3, and 4
backups. Lite-On owners should see a solution available soon.

there is currently another XBOX Live ban wave in effect and it is recommended to
stay off Xbox Live for a while. I am testing an unban solution for anyone
who might have been banned.

The new "Wave 4" XBox 360 games are being released and as many of you might have noticed t
he backups will not play on your 360 unless you happen to have a Hitachi DVD drive with ixtreme
1.51. For those of you with other drives and firmware there is an activate.iso (burn to DVD+R DL)
disc available which will allow you to boot the new "Wave 4" games but online play is not
recommended until the new ixtreme is released.

I am now debricking / unbricking xbox 360 systems where the original DVD Key has been lost and the
system will not load originals or backups. Possible signs of a bricked drive are:
- DVD drive will not eject (green light just flashes)
- white screen "To play this disc, put it in an Xbox 360 console"
- xbox 360 only plays DVD movies
IF YOU HAVE LOST YOUR DVD KEY - DO NOT CONNECT TO XBOX LIVE! IT WILL INSTALL THE
LATEST DASHBOARD WHICH IS CURRENTLY NOT HACKABLE.
