The new iXtreme 1.61 has been released for Samsung and BenQ drives but

nothing yet for the lite-on drives. You will need this update to play all Wave 2, 3, and 4

backups. Lite-On owners should see a solution available soon.

there is currently another XBOX Live ban wave in effect and it is recommended to

stay off Xbox Live for a while. I am testing an unban solution for anyone

who might have been banned.

The new "Wave 4" XBox 360 games are being released and as many of you might have noticed t

he backups will not play on your 360 unless you happen to have a Hitachi DVD drive with ixtreme

1.51. For those of you with other drives and firmware there is an activate.iso (burn to DVD+R DL)

disc available which will allow you to boot the new "Wave 4" games but online play is not

recommended until the new ixtreme is released.

I am now debricking / unbricking xbox 360 systems where the original DVD Key has been lost and the

system will not load originals or backups. Possible signs of a bricked drive are:

- DVD drive will not eject (green light just flashes)

- white screen "To play this disc, put it in an Xbox 360 console"

- xbox 360 only plays DVD movies

IF YOU HAVE LOST YOUR DVD KEY - DO NOT CONNECT TO XBOX LIVE! IT WILL INSTALL THE

LATEST DASHBOARD WHICH IS CURRENTLY NOT HACKABLE.
